“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).

Words aren’t just noise; they are spirit. When we speak certain words, we’re literally creating things that will come to pass in our lives.

“Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them” (Psalm 126:2).

We celebrate our successes in life by acknowledging the role God played in them. This involves singing, shouting, and praising Him for His goodness.

December 6

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come” (2 Timothy 3:1).

Today’s times are stressful and chaotic, but when we hold fast to the Word of God, we’ll be taken care of right in the midst of trouble.

“That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:7).

God is getting ready to pour out an unlimited, immeasurable amount of blessing on His people. Our best days are just ahead of us.

December 4

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

If we step out of fellowship with God through sin, we simply confess our sin and He will forgive us. We can then step back into fellowship with Him and keep moving forward.

December 3

“[Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is” (Jeremiah 17:7, AMPC).

God is our ultimate refuge and hope. We can fully trust in Him only; He’ll never let us down.

December 2

“The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him” (Proverbs 20:7).

We are the righteousness of God; we therefore have the ability to live honorably before the Lord. Our children will also benefit from our godly lifestyle.

“The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion” (Psalm 20:1, 2).

God is our divine lawyer who will defend us against the enemy’s accusations. When we receive His assistance, we gain supernatural strength.
